Ok, just finished giving my first Skype lesson to my new friend Eason from China. Eason's been speaking English now for 10 years and studies at university. He's got friends all over the world that teach him different languages, but right now he's really into English, French and Japanese. The lesson was fun and I learned a few things in Mandarin as well! Anyway, Eason was really trying to express his love for languages and the fact that he regularly kept in contact with so many people worldwide.
So I taught him to say "I am passionate about languages". He knew the word "passionate" already, but now he can use it in a sentence. Cool stuff.

How to Score Free English Lessons (and help me assess whether ESL Skype lessons are effective) by english-language-lessons.com
In addition to teaching ESL at University and private tutoring, I'm also starting a series of free skype lessons for students wanting to improve their English. A lot of folks out there argue that learning via skype is ineffective, but I'm not entirely convinced. After each free 30 min lesson, I'll ask each student to leave some comments on this page. Hopefully soon enough I'll get a better idea of whether they've actually improved their English and if so, to what extent. For those of you who are looking to improve your English, feel free to contact me for a lesson. I look forward to teaching and helping you! (skype address: english.language.lessons_mark)
